Dr. Camiel received his MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1976, and completed a residency in psychiatry at the Institute of Pennsylvania Hospital and a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at Temple University. He has held numerous positions with the Pennsylvania Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, including Director of the Juvenile Forensic program, Assistant Superintendent of Forensic Services for Eastern State School and hospital, and Supervising Forensic Psychiatrist for the Bureau of Hospital Operations. He retired from the United States Naval Reserve with the rank of Captain after 21 years of service during which time he served as an Aviation Medical Officer with numerous Marine Corps Units, a psychiatrist with various Fleet Hospital Units (including Chief of Psychiatry for Fleet Hospital 15 during Operation Desert Storm). Dr. Goldblatt has over fourty years of clinical and administrative experience and is a recognized pioneer of cognitive-behavioral therapy. As a Charter Clinical Fellow of The Behavior Therapy and Research Society, Dr. Goldblatt is among an exclusive group worldwide. He was a member of the faculties of The Family Institute of Philadelphia, and Temple University School of Medicine for many years and continues to be on the staff of St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and Holy Redeemer Hospital.
